For those old members whom we have missed dearly (well, some of you anyways): Thanks for actually remembering. If Kimberly recalls correctly most of you rarely came to meetings last year (probably because she was never there as well), but anyways...
For those of you who missed the meeting or simply forgot Norris' little spiel (def. plausible glib talk), here is a brief summary of the information we covered at the meeting last Friday:
If you would like to apply for an officer position (i.e. Secretary, Treasurer, Fundraiser Coordinator or some other title you want to invent) please e-mail Norris at norrisyidong@yahoo.com. Please include which position you would like to fill, as well as a reason to why you would like the position or what about you makes you qualified.
Also, please remember that we will have our first launch on Sunday, October 11. The following dates are tentative workshop days:
Friday, Oct. 2 (at school)
Sunday, Oct. 4 (at Norris' house. I will attach the address when we finalize plans on Friday)
Friday, Oct. 9 (at school)
LAUNCH: Sunday, Oct. 11
Attendance to the meeting this week, Friday, Sept. 25 is mandatory because we will be distributing rockets as well as finalizing dates and explaining the basics to this launch. If you will be absent, please don't whine, because we don't care! Just kidding. If you miss the meeting (I'm currently getting kicked out of the Career Center by what's-her-face so I'll make this quick), please e-mail Norris a letter about how great of a leader he is and include a post-script explaining why you missed the meeting and why we shouldn't kick you out for good.
Just kidding.
